Neuro divergent 6 year old loved it.

The dragon potion kit was a big hit with my 6 year old. He really engaged with the whole concept and had a brilliant time mixing potions and watching them bubble and rise. He was disappointed that the colours all go to brown after a while but it was definitely a hit.

Because there are so many vibrant colours in the mix, they can eventually turn to a brown shade. To keep the colours more defined, he could try using one or two ingredients at a time! We hope he continues to enjoy making potions!

Love love love!

As a parent of two young boys, finding engaging toys that also keep the peace can be a challenge. The Potion Kits from Hooded Owls have been a delightful discovery for our family.

Great Value - This is the second Potion Kit we've received from Hooded Owls. The first one was given as a gift at Christmas, and we didn't run out until April, which is a testament to the value of these kits. A little goes a long way!

Engaging fun - My boys, aged 8 and 5, primarily use these kits at bath time in the PlayTRAY, although we've also enjoyed them all sectioned out on the kitchen floor during playdates. They love lining up the little pots, choosing their ingredients, and creating various effects. It's fascinating to see their different approaches to play—one is meticulous and takes his time, while the other dives in and gets as messy as possible!

Creative play - The Dragon Inferno Kit, in particular, has sparked their imaginations. The dramatic names of the ingredients and the vivid colors that stay true even when dissolved have led us into to exciting lava explosions and all kinds of imaginary (always deadly) scenarios. Everything smells nice and washes away easily at the end.

Sanity saving - Set up is super quick, a couple of minutes max. Cleaning up is just as easy, with everything dissolving and rinsing straight down the plug. We haven't had any issues with stains, unlike with other bath bombs and messy play ingredients. The little pots are easy to stack and store, and best of all, they keep the boys entertained for a good amount of time, providing a peaceful way for them to play together.

Overall, these Potion Kits have been a fantastic addition to our playtime routine. They offer great value, endless fun, and easy clean-up, making them a must-have for any family. We have a neuro-divergent household, so I value peace greatly, especially on school nights. I honestly can't speak highly enough of these kits.
