Hooded Owls | Bathtime Adventures is a fast-growing, founder-led e-commerce business designing, making and selling bathtime and playtime products for children. From our original, big hooded towels to our colourful bath treats and magical potion kits (now our bestsellers!), our products are designed to make bathtime fun for children and easier for parents.
With sales more than doubling last year, we’re aiming to continue our high growth and are looking for a bright, creative, proactive Acquisitions Manager to attract new customers and grow our brand presence.
About the Role
Working alongside the Retention Manager and reporting to the founder, you’ll take ownership of our top-of-funnel marketing. From performance campaigns to exploring new market sectors, you’ll run paid ads, create and commission brand-building content, and develop influencer and community relationships.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Paid media : Plan, manage, and optimise Meta and Google Ad campaigns to meet CAC and ROAS targets; build and test audiences using first-party data, platform tools, and customer insights; report weekly on performance and suggest data-led improvements and tests
- Creative content & brand visibility : Create and edit content (product and behind-the-scenes, as reels, short-form video and brand story-telling); brief and manage external content creators, photographers, influencer partnerships and UGC collaborators.
- Website optimisation : create new listings and optimise content on Shopify (product pages, collections and homepage) and work alongside the Retention Manager to test landing pages and enhance the customer journey
- Market expansion and product development : research and develop campaign ideas to reach new audiences and sectors ; grow brand awareness and visibility beyond paid media (eg, through PR) ; contribute to and assist in new product development.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong and demonstrable knowledge of Meta and Google Ads platforms
- Is experienced in digital marketing, ideally for a D2C or e-commerce brand
- Is familiar with Shopify and confident uploading and managing website content
- Enjoys creating content and collaborating with photographers and other external creators
- Is passionate about growing a brand
- Is creative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led business

This role is based at our new site in Luton. It is available as either a full or part time position with a minimum of 30 hours spread across 4 days, up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
